La Canada Bathroom

A referral client that wanted to have a company with an expertise in craftsman details. Since we have worked on many Craftsman homes,  due to being in the areas of Pasadena, as well as a passion for architecture, we set under way to restore the former  beauty of this space. The bathroom had been remodeled in the 60’s  and again in the 80’s, it was dark and cramped. The idea was to install a large window to bring in the light and terrific landscape of the back yard. Aspects of the job were a custom made matching medicine
cabinet and vanity. All molding and trim were hand made and custom stained to match. Solid wood bead board wainscoting. A new free standing claw foot tub.  Period hand made tile with a hand painted tile relief of trees in shower. We hired the same wallpaper installer that did the Walt Disney Resort mural at animal kingdom lodge.  This paper ceiling liner was hand painted and need to line up  perfectly for the pattern to repeat. No detail was too small for the client, so extra attention was given to all aspects of the install.
